Item 8.01. Other Events.

Compliance with Minimum Bid Requirement

As previously disclosed in the Current Report on Form 8-K of Shineco, Inc. (the “Company”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”) on September 29, 2022, the Company received a notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market, LLC (“Nasdaq”) indicating that, based upon the closing bid price of the Company’s common stock (“Common Stock”) for the last 30 consecutive business days, the Company was not in compliance with the requirement to maintain a minimum bid price of $1.00 per share for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market, as set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) (the “Minimum Bid Requirement”). The Company was provided a period of 180 calendar days in which to regain compliance.

On December 21, 2022, the Company received a letter from Nasdaq notifying the Company that it had regained compliance with the Minimum Bid Requirement and that this matter is now closed.
