Item 8.01. Other Events.

On May 4, 2022, Shore Bancshares, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.12 per share, payable on May 31, 2022, to holders of record of shares of common stock as of May 14, 2022. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
