Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On July 26, 2022, Sound Financial Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq: SFBC), the holding company (the “Company”) of Sound Community Bank (the “Bank”), issued its earnings press release announcing financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2022. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Item 8.01. Other Event.

On July 26, 2022, Sound Financial Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq: SFBC), the holding company (the “Company”) of Sound Community Bank (the “Bank”), announced that the Board of Directors has declared on Company common stock a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.17 per share. The dividends will be payable on August 23, 2022 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on August 09, 2022. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
