The Best Children's Hospitals rankings identified almost 110 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists with demonstrated expertise in one or more of 11 pediatric specialties - with the new addition of behavioral health. U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings, has conducted the Best Children's Hospitals rankings since 2007. Over 100 medical centers were evaluated through a comprehensive survey that assesses measures like patient safety, infection prevention, and nurse staffing adequacy. In 2024-2025, only 88 children's hospitals were ranked in at least one of the 11 pediatric specialties evaluated, with 10 hospitals earning top honors and being named to the 2024-2025 Best Children's Hospitals list.
In July 2024, U.S. News & World Report released its 2024-2025 Best Hospital Honor Roll ranking. Eighteen of the 20 adult hospitals named to the list also use Spok solutions.
