Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On April 12, 2021, Director Lawrence J. Blanford notified Steelcase Inc. (the “Company”) that he does not want to be nominated for re-election to the Steelcase Inc. Board of Directors (the “Board”). Mr. Blanford has been a member of the Board since 2012, and his term on the Board will end at the Company’s 2021 annual shareholders’ meeting. Mr. Blanford has indicated that he is retiring from the Board for personal reasons and not because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter.
