DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Suffolk, one of the most innovative and successful builders and real estate enterprises in the country, announced the hiring of John B. Hood as Vice President for Dallas. Mr. Hood will be responsible for developing and supporting strategies to expand Suffolk’s network, broaden its brand reach and presence, and build client relationships in the Dallas and North Texas regions.

Mr. Hood has extensive experience managing projects across numerous market sectors including healthcare, industrial, sports, multi-family, government facilities, corporate offices, aviation and hospitality. Prior to joining Suffolk, Mr. Hood held real estate and project management positions with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and SYSCO Corporation in Houston, where he helped develop healthcare and industrial projects across the nation. He has also held project management and executive management positions with Clayco, Manhattan and JLL.
Mr. Hood is a native Texan and is active in North Texas communities with Hearts and Hammers, Make a Wish, Toys for Tots and March of Dimes. He is a member of industry organizations including NAIOP, the Black Contractors Association and the Hispanic Contractors Association. Mr. Hood has been a member of numerous Chambers of Commerce, most recently holding an executive committee position on the Board of Directors for the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
