Tillys Executives Join Tilly's Life Center Board of Directors
New Additions to the Board of Directors from the Tilly's, Inc. Executive Team to Elevate the Non-profit in its Mission of Supporting Young People's Well Being
Today, youth-focused empowerment nonprofit Tilly's Life Center (TLC) is proud to announce that it has appointed four c-level Tillys executives to its board of directors. This includes Tilly's, Inc. (NYSE:TLYS, ", Tillys", ))) President and CEO Edmond Thomas, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer Laura Janney, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Michael Henry, and Chief Digital Officer Jonathan Kosoff.

Edmond Thomas – President, Chief Executive Officer of Tillys
Edmond Thomas has served as Tillys President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Tillys Board since October 2015. Thomas also served as Tillys President and Co-Chief Executive Officer from September 2005 to October 2007.
Prior to his role at Tillys, Thomas was Chief Executive Officer and Director of Wet Seal, Inc. and a partner of KarpReilly LLC, a private investment firm focused on small to mid-size growth companies. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University.
Laura Janney - Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer
Laura Janney joined Tillys as the Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer in April 2023.
Prior to joining Tillys, she served Hudson's Bay from July 2019 to January 2023, including most recently as its Chief Merchandising Officer from August 2021 to January 2023. Prior to that, Ms. Janney served Nordstrom, Inc. for 32 years from June 1987 to March 2019 in a variety of retail store and merchandise management roles, including most recently as Vice President, Omni Channel Divisional Merchandise Manager – Innovation/Full Price Stores from March 2017 to March 2019.
Janney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing/Management from Western Washington University.
Michael Henry - Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Michael Henry has served as Tillys Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since September 2019, following his service as Tillys Vice President, Chief Financial Officer from May 2015 to September 2019.
Prior to joining Tillys, Henry most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Controller at Quiksilver Inc. and previously at Pacific Sunwear of California, where one of his roles included Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Henry is a certified public accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Jonathan Kosoff – Chief Digital Officer of Tillys
Jonathan Kosoff has been in his role as Tillys Chief Digital Officer since February 2020, overseeing all aspects of the company's e-commerce, digital marketing and customer relationship management functions.
Previous to his current role, Kosoff served as Vice President of e-commerce and Performance Marketing at Taco Bell as well as a variety of digital leadership roles growing the e-commerce business at Hot Topic Inc. Kosoff holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master's in Business Administration from The University of California, Irvine.
