Among the latest railing additions are new steel, aluminum, cable and glass systems, along with enhancements to the Trex Select® composite railing system, designed to offer homeowners more choices beyond vinyl railing and wood railing. Trex® Enhance™ Steel Railing
Delivering affordability with a simple design that highlights any view, Trex Enhance Steel Railing offers a classic profile designed for function, style and performance. For easy and speedy installation, this line features pre-assembled panels and posts with pre-mounted brackets and carries a 15-year limited residential warranty. The perennially popular Charcoal Black color offers a view-optimizing complement to any setting.
Trex® Select™ Aluminum Railing
Offering a step up in weatherability, Trex Select Aluminum Railing combines elegance and simplicity with easy-to-install panels available in a choice of Charcoal Black or a brand-new railing color – Burnished Bronze. The clean, modern design enhances sightlines while providing durability and ease of maintenance backed by a 25-year limited residential warranty.
Trex® Select™ Steel Mesh Panels & Railing Kits
Mixed materials continue to trend in outdoor spaces. Composite posts paired with metal infill are the hallmarks of Trex Select railing. In addition to classic round black aluminum balusters or square white composite balusters, Trex has added a new steel black mesh infill to this line that exudes rustic charm with an industrial edge. Created to address regional preferences, the mesh panels feature 4"x4" welded cross points and are offered in sizes to fit 6' or 8' rail systems. These panels are sold as part of a complete Trex Select Railing kit or separately with hardware that allows for mounting to wood for enhanced versatility to complement a variety of home and backyard settings.
Trex Select® Classic Railing in Charcoal Black
Previously offered exclusively in Trex's Classic White finish, Trex Select Railing is now available with composite rails and posts in Charcoal Black. Offering a fashionable alternative to vinyl railing, this new color pairs perfectly with a choice of round black aluminum balusters or the new steel black mesh infill to deliver a sleek, modern aesthetic with a 25-year limited residential warranty.
Trex Select® and Trex Enhance® All-in-one Railing Post Kits
In August, Trex introduced All-In-One Post Kits for its Trex Select and Trex Enhance railing. Designed to simplify the railing purchase and installation process, these kits come complete with a 4"x4" composite post sleeve, cap and skirt packaged together for easy ordering, stocking, shipping and installation, while also reducing packaging waste at the job site. Finished in Trex's Classic White, the Enhance Kit comes in a standard 48" railing height while the Select Kit is available in 40", 48" or 54" heights, allowing customers to use components as-is or trim as needed for a cost-effective installation. In both cases, railing kits and brackets are sold separately.
Trex Signature® X-Series™ Cable and Frameless Glass Railing Systems
In addition to filling out the entry-level of its railing line, Trex has also introduced two specialty railing options with elevated sophistication and design flexibility for premium builds.
