UBS, First Republic Bank And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Tuesday

U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones gaining around 200 points on Tuesday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

• U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:USX) shares climbed 298% to $5.97 after Knight-Swift Transportation agreed to acquire the company for $6.15 per share.
• First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC) shares gained 29.7% to $15.80 following reports suggesting JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon is leading discussions to come up with a new rescue plan for the bank. Also, Treasury Secretary Yellen said the government is prepared to take more action to aid banks, which could be positively impacting the stock.
• On Holding AG (NYSE:ONON) rose 29.1% to $27.85 after the company reported fourth-quarter FY22 sales growth of 91.9% year-on-year to CHF 366.8 million.
• ImmunityBio, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBRX) jumped 20% to $1.62.
• Hammerhead Energy Inc. (NASDAQ:HHRS) rose 15.5% to $7.77.
• Seres Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRB) gained 14.6% to $6.29. Canaccord Genuity maintained Seres Therapeutics with a Buy and raised the price target from $11 to $15.
• Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. (NYSE:DO) rose 13.8% to $11.62.
• Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) rose 12.7% to $40.41 after the company reported better-than-expected Q4 results.
• PacWest Bancorp (NASDAQ:PACW) rose 12.7% to $11.58.
• Select Energy Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:WTTR) climbed 12.5% to $6.30. Select Energy Services announced a $50 million buyback program.
• Sunnova Energy International Inc. (NYSE:NOVA) jumped 12.4% to $14.26.
• SoundHound AI, Inc. (NASDAQ:SOUN) gained 12.3% to $1.7850.
• SIGNA Sports United N.V. (NYSE:SSU) climbed 12.3% to $4.01.
• First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ:FFWM) gained 12% to $8.13 after the company issued an update on financial strength.
• Puyi Inc. (NASDAQ:PUYI) climbed 11.8% to $7.17. Puyi posted a narrower H1 loss.
• Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR) gained 11.1% to $35.55 after the company announced it received a volume production order for WaferPak full wafer Contactors from a major silicon carbide semiconductor customer.
• Customers Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:CUBI) surged 10% to $19.70.
• UBS Group AG (NYSE:UBS) gained 9% to $20.49. UBS stepped into buying Credit Suisse Group for $3.2 billion.
• Harmonic Inc. (NASDAQ:HLIT) gained 8.8% to $14.25 after the company announced a new partnership with Charter Communications.
• XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) jumped 8.8% to $9.96. XPeng recently reported Q4 financial results.
• Semantix, Inc. (NASDAQ:STIX) surged 8.3% to $4.2001.
