Campaign Raises Critical Funds to Benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Walmart and Sam′s Club concluded their annual Children's Miracle Network campaign, held from June 9 to July 6. During this four−week initiative, customers, members, and associates rallied nationwide, raising more than $43 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). These vital funds directly support local children's hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, providing essential care to millions of children in their communities.

CMN Hospitals' National Champions Locke and Lyndie

For 38 years, the enduring partnership between Walmart, Sam's Club, and CMN Hospitals has consistently championed children's well-being. This commitment continues to drive significant support for pediatric care, reinforcing Sam Walton's founding belief that "the associates will amaze you."

"We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our associates, customers, and members during this year's Children's Miracle Network.' campaign," said Julie Gehrki, SVP, President, Walmart Foundation. "Their generosity embodies the spirit of our company and our commitment to the communities we serve. It's meaningful to see how their efforts translate into direct support for children and families right in their local communities, proving that together, we can truly spark good and change kids' health for generations to come."

This year's campaign resonated deeply with communities, powered by the incredible passion of Walmart and Sam's Club associates, customers and members. Their personal commitment to the cause is beautifully captured in a special video, highlighting why every dollar truly matters. As one associate shared, "it wasn't just a job working for Walmart, it felt like you were giving back."

From experiences supporting children like their own with complex medical needs to witnessing the collective power of small donations adding up, these associates embody the spirit of their "community store." They remind us that even "a dollar goes a long way" and that the real impact isn't just in money, but in the difference made for countless children. We invite you to watch this powerful video to see and hear the impact of your generosity:

Their stories underscore how every dollar raised equips children's hospitals to provide life-changing treatments, groundbreaking research, and comprehensive support programs.

"The unwavering commitment of Walmart and Sam's Club associates, customers, and members profoundly inspires us each year," said Aimee J. Daily, Ph.D., President & CEO of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. "As you've seen in the video, their dedication isn't just about fundraising; it's a deep, personal connection to their communities and the children within them. This collective generosity empowers and equips our local member children's hospitals to confront health challenges. This gives every child the specialized, essential care they need, from life-saving treatments and cutting-edge technology to comprehensive family support, profoundly transforming children's healthcare and building healthier communities."

The funds collected during the campaign are critical, ensuring children's hospitals can meet urgent needs and provide access to care. Donations directly support local communities, creating a lasting positive impact.

Walmart and Sam's Club and CMN Hospitals extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who participated in the Children's Miracle Network campaign. Your contributions are helping to change kids' health and change the future for millions of children.
