On April 22, 2025, Weatherford International plc (“Weatherford” and together with its subsidiaries, “we” or the “Company”) issued a news release announcing results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025. A copy of the news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Item 2.02.
Weatherford will host a conference call on Thursday, April 23, 2025, to discuss the Company’s results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025. The conference call will begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time (7:30 a.m. Central Time).

On April 17, 2025, Weatherford announced that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) has declared a cash dividend of $0.25 per share on the Company’s ordinary shares, par value $0.001 per share, payable on June 5, 2025 to shareholders of record as of May 6, 2025. The declaration of any future dividends is subject to the Board’s discretion.
A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and the portions related to the dividend are incorporated herein by reference.
