WESTERN ASSET MANAGED MUNICIPALS FUND INC. Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Stockholders

Western Asset Managed Municipals Fund Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE:MMU) announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund's annual meeting of stockholders held October 18, 2024.

Carol L. Colman was elected as a Class I Director of the Fund by holders of record of the Fund's outstanding shares of common stock and preferred stock, voting together as a single class, to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2027, or until her successor has been duly elected and qualified, or until she resigns or is otherwise removed.

Paolo M. Cucchi was elected as a Class I Director of the Fund by holders of record of the Fund's outstanding preferred stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2027, or until his successor has been duly elected and qualified, or until he resigns or is otherwise removed.

In addition, the stockholders voted to ratify the selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as independent registered public accountants of the Fund for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2025.
