Item 8.01. Other Events.

On August 9, 2022, WestRock Company, a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), announced that Peter C. Durette, President, Corrugated Packaging, would leave the Company to pursue other interests. Effective August 15, 2022, Patrick M. Kivits will assume the role of President, Corrugated Packaging, and Samuel W. Shoemaker will assume the role of President, Consumer Packaging. Mr. Shoemaker was most recently the President and General Manager of Global Packaging, Coil and Coatings, Resins and Colorants at The Sherwin-Williams Company from June 2017 to April 2021.
