Workhorse Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:WKHS) shares are moving higher on Tuesday. The electric vehicle company was awarded a Sourcewell contract for zero-emission vehicles.
The Details: Workhorse was awarded the Sourcewell contract for procurement in the category of Class 4-8 chassis and cabs with related equipment, accessories, and services.
The contract allows Workhorse to expand its reach to government, educational, and nonprofit sectors within the United States and Canada. Sourcewell is a government agency which streamlines procurement by combining the purchasing power of many entities. The process does meet the public bidding requirements.
Separately, the company is set to be one of the presenters at the Gateway Conference which will take place in San Francisco in early September.
