United Airlines reported quarterly earnings of $2.00 per share which surpassed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.70. Quarterly sales clocked in at $13.60 billion, exceeding the Street's estimate of $13.54 billion.
However, the company said it sees a wider-than-expected first-quarter loss.
