Diageo Receives Thirty Double Gold Medals at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition
DIAGEO's liquids from all corners of the world continue to be recognized as leaders in their respective categories, winning 101 medals over all from the prestigious global spirits competition
Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, announces that brands from its iconic and expansive portfolio have won a collective 101 medals across whisk(e)y, tequila, gin, rum, vodka, and ready to drink categories at the 24th Annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Diageo's 2024 results were a strong reflection of the company's innovative spirits, redefined categories, and legendary scotch whisky brands, receiving 30 double gold and 24 gold medals across the portfolio.
The company's Scotch brands, which include Johnnie Walker, Buchanan's, Lagavulin, and Talisker, continue to drive a significant number of wins, earning 21 of Diageo's top awards in 2024, including platinum, double gold, and gold medals for liquid. Diageo's newly released ready to serve cocktail line, The Cocktail Collection, secured 4 double gold medals for the second year in a row, with wins for the Astral Margarita Cocktail, Bulleit Manhattan Cocktail, Bulleit Old Fashioned Cocktail, and Tanqueray Negroni Cocktail. Lagavulin 16-Year-Old, Mortlach 16-Year-Old, and Tanqueray London Dry Gin were awarded the esteemed platinum medal, granted to a very select number of entries that have received a double gold medal for three consecutive years.
