NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Everview Partners, L.P. ("Everview" or the "Firm") today announced its launch as a newly formed private investment firm founded by Billy Rahm on the belief that applying both private equity and credit expertise to U.S. real asset investments could yield enduring performance across market cycles. Rahm brings over 20 years of leadership and real asset investing experience across leading alternative asset management firms including Centerbridge and Blackstone.
"With the launch of Everview, I am excited to bring a specialized focus to a strategy we are confident will be sustainable across market cycles and produce meaningful results," said Rahm. "We have assembled an experienced team that we believe is well positioned to partner with businesses and management teams, and I am grateful to reunite with both former colleagues and talented individuals that I have known for years."
In addition to Rahm, the Everview Board of Directors includes Marne Levine, former Chief Business Officer of Meta Platforms, Inc., and Richard Wallman, former CFO of Honeywell International.
Initial members of Everview's investment team will include David S. Cohen, former Managing Director at Brookfield Asset Management, where he oversaw the Alternative Real Estate team; Komal Sankla, former Blackstone Principal; Austin Zurlo, former Starwood Capital Group Vice President; and Gregory Ressa, former Partner and Head of the Real Estate Practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
Everview has also formed an institutional-quality business team, including Jeff Gelfand, former Centerbridge Partner and CFO; Meghan Olson, former Centerbridge and BlackRock Managing Director; Heather Petersen, former Centerbridge Director and Durable Capital Director of Investor Relations; Melanie Posner, former Davidson Kempner Principal and Legal Counsel; and Samantha Levien, former Centerbridge Executive Assistant.
Additionally, Everview has begun building an Advisory Council and an Operating Resources Group to support the investment team as well as portfolio company leadership teams.
"Real assets will continue to feel the impact of a changing cost of capital, technological and demographic trends, policy changes and geopolitics," said Rahm. "Our real estate, private equity and credit experience combined with functional and operational expertise positions Everview to navigate this transforming market. We're excited about the journey ahead."
About Billy Rahm
Prior to forming Everview, Rahm was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate at Centerbridge. After starting his career at Blackstone, Rahm agreed to join Centerbridge at its inception and began his 18-year tenure in 2006, initially investing on behalf of its private equity and credit platforms before building and leading Centerbridge's global real estate investing activities. In earlier periods, he also served on Centerbridge's Valuation & Allocation Committee and the Executive Committee of the Centerbridge Foundation.
As Head of Real Estate, Rahm was principally responsible for overseeing Centerbridge's investment activities in real estate across Centerbridge's various vehicles and played an active role in team development and investor-facing activities.
During his time at Centerbridge, Rahm served as a member of restructuring steering groups and numerous public and private company boards. These roles included Board Chair of Carefree Communities (now a subsidiary of Sun Communities (NYSE: SUI)), Great Wolf Resorts and Suntex Marinas, and a Director of Radius Global Infrastructure (NASDAQ:RADI), Extended Stay Hotels (NYSE:STAY), Kerzner International, Merit Hill Capital, Indus Realty Trust and Resort Finance. In addition, he serves as lead Independent Director and Compensation Committee Chairman of Brixmor Property Group (NYSE:BRX).
Rahm also serves as Chairman of the Board of East Harlem Tutorial Program and East Harlem Scholars Academies and is a former David Rockefeller Fellow of The Partnership for New York City.
