La-Z-Boy Posts Upbeat Earnings, Joins Victoria's Secret, Snowflake And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks traded mostly higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 200 points on Thursday.

Shares of La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB) moved higher on Thursday as the company reported upbeat earnings results for its second quarter and increased its quarterly cash dividend by 10%.

La-Z-Boy posted adjusted earnings of 74 cents per share, beating market estimates of 62 cents per share. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $511.44 million versus estimates of $502.33 million.

La-Z-Boy shares gained 7.5% to $34.08 on Thursday.

• Farfetch Limited (NYSE:FTCH) gained 11.2% to $1.0842.

• MorphoSys AG (NASDAQ:MOR) surged 10.7% to $6.59.

• EverQuote, Inc. (NASDAQ:EVER) gained 7.8% to $10.33. B. Riley upgraded EverQuote from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $8 to $14.
• Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. (NASDAQ:WOOF) rose 7.7% to $2.9397.
• Oatly Group AB (NASDAQ:OTLY) rose 7.5% to $1.0750.
• Snowflake Inc. (NYSE:SNOW) surged 7.1% to $187.76 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued guidance.
• Snap Inc. (NYSE:SNAP) rose 6.6% to $13.85 after Jefferies upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy and raised its price target from $12 to $16.
• PVH Corp. (NYSE:PVH) gained 6.2% to $97.16 following upbeat earnings.
