Pinnacle Financial Partners has placed on this list for 10 years in a row.
This is Pinnacle's 10th year in a row on this prestigious list, this year coming in at No. 12. Since Pinnacle's founding 26 years ago, the firm's corporate vision has been to be the best financial services firm and the best place to work, because every person makes a difference and deserves a great place to work and do business.
"This recognition is a powerful affirmation of the exceptional culture Pinnacle has built over many years and the pride its team members take in caring for one another and the firm," said President and CEO Kevin Blair. "What made the combination between Pinnacle and Synovus so compelling was the strength of that people‑first culture and how deeply it is embedded in our firm's success. As we move forward, my focus is on honoring and building on that remarkable foundation as we bring our teams together."
The ranking is based on the 2025 Great Place to Work Trust Index™ survey. Results show 97% of Pinnacle team members say the firm is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.
In a video for Great Place to Work, Chief People Officer Summer Yeiser explained why this honor is important to the firm.
"When a banker feels like an expendable commodity at a big bureaucratic institution, they'll gladly leave that atmosphere for a culture that prioritizes people and connection, and their clients reap the benefit," said Yeiser. "That's been the cornerstone of our growth and the reason we can deliver a distinctively different client experience and produce industry-leading net promoter scores."
Comments from Pinnacle team members on the 2025 Trust Index™ survey include:
Pinnacle is a great place to work. I've been here for almost 18 months and have no regrets. This has been a very rewarding season in my career to work with people who share the same work values, where I feel like my work is valued, and where I feel valued as a person.
Pinnacle puts associates first, and this leads to an engaged and productive workforce. A work/life balance is actually practiced, and putting your family first is actively encouraged.
I have worked for four other banks, and this is by far the best financial institution I have ever worked for. I hope to stay with Pinnacle until I retire.
The 100 Best Companies to Work For list honors companies that build a high-trust workplace environment, measured through Great Place To Work's proprietary survey platform. Confidential feedback from more than 1.3 million employees in the U.S. is matched against HR data from participating companies. Only companies with consistently high survey responses across the 60 statements that comprise the Trust Index™ Survey earn placement on this exclusive list.
The Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list is more than an award. It's data-backed proof of the health and vitality of an organization. Companies that make the list have consistently outperformed the stock market over 28 years of cumulative returns.
Eligible companies must be Great Place to Work Certified™ and have 1,000 or more U.S. employees. Winners are assessed on their ability to create a great employee experience that spans across job level, business unit, demographic group or geographic location.
"Trust in the organization is a leading indicator of business performance," says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. "When employees trust their leaders, they are more willing to give extra effort, embrace innovation like new AI tools and deliver a better experience to customers."
The result is the Great Place To Work Effect, where companies can see how leadership behaviors drive measurable changes in their financial performance.
