Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 23, 2025, Sana Biotechnology, Inc. (the “Company”) announced positive six-month clinical results from an investigator-sponsored, first-in-human study transplanting UP421, an allogeneic primary islet cell therapy engineered with the Company’s hypoimmune technology, into a patient with type 1 diabetes without any immunosuppression.
