Apple, Intel, And Some Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 500 points on Friday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

• Nuvalent, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUVL) shares jumped 62% to $35.60 after the company reported preliminary Phase 1 clinical data from the ARROS-1 trial that support the best-in-class potential of NVL-520 for patients with ROS1-positive NSCLC.
• TAL Education Group (NYSE:TAL) climbed 16.3% to $4.6180 after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 results.
• 8x8, Inc. (NYSE:EGHT) surged 15% to $3.9189 after the company announced better-than-expected Q2 EPS and sales results.
• Grand Canyon Education, Inc. (NASDAQ:LOPE) rose 14.5% to $99.97 following strong Q3 results.
• TESSCO Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ:TESS) surged 14.5% to $4.98 after the company reported better-than-expected Q2 results.
• DexCom, Inc. (NASDAQ:DXCM) gained 14.4% to $115.86 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
• Scholar Rock Holding Corporation (NASDAQ:SRRK) rose 13.7% to $8.80. Scholar Rock Holding 10% owner Invus Public Equities Advisors LLC bought a total of 130,265 shares at an average price of $8.04.
• PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE:PFSI) gained 13.5% to $53.66 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 sales results.
• Flagstar Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE:FBC) surged 13.3% to $38.33 after the company announced it has received approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for the merger with New York Community Bank. The co. also announced a special dividend of $2.50 per share.
• AppFolio, Inc. (NASDAQ:APPF) gained 12.6% to $119.71 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 sales results and issued FY22 revenue guidance above analyst estimates.
• H&E Equipment Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:HEES) surged 11.1% to $36.56. The company posted upbeat quarterly results.
• Knowles Corporation (NYSE:KN) climbed 10.5% to $14.15 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results.
• Pinterest, Inc. (NYSE:PINS) rose 10.4% to $24.16 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
• Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) rose 9.7% to $76.99 after the company reported better-than-expected Q3 results.
• Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) rose 8.5% to $28.50 after the company posted better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter. The company also issued weak guidance for FY22. Intel is focused on cost reductions going forward with a plan for $3 billion in savings in 2023 and cost savings of $8 billion to $10 billion annually by 2025.
• Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) gained 7.3% to $155.42 after the company reported better-than-expected Q4 results and reported year-over-year revenue growth across multiple segments.
